The junior research group "Physical Affordances for Digital Media and Workflows" at the University of Regensburg is led by [[http://raphael.cc/|Dr. Raphael Wimmer]]. It explores how the unique affordances of physical and digital media can be combined to enhance knowledge work and workflows [[about|(more about our goals)]].

This project is funded by the [[https://www.stmwk.bayern.de/wissenschaftler/|Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts]] and coordinated by the [[https://www.bidt.digital/|Bavarian Research Institute for Digital Transformation (bidt)]]. From 2017 to 2020, the project was funded in the context of the [[https://zentrum-digitalisierung.bayern/massnahmen/nachwuchsforschungsgruppen/|Centre Digitisation.Bavaria (ZD.B)]].

The group is associated with the [[http://www.uni-regensburg.de/sprache-literatur-kultur/information-medien-sprache-kultur/|Institute of Information and Media, Language and Culture (I:IMSK)]] and the [[http://mi.ur.de|Chair of Media Informatics]] at the University of Regensburg.
